My values regarding teaching, involve not just telling the rider what to do, but also explaining the why. Knowing the why, allows the rider to truly understand how to read the horse, and confidently respond.

My philosophy is a from the ground up system for learning. A good foundation with basics is necessary to build a skillful rider and reliable horse.  

Barrel racing, it isn't just about running fast, you need a solid foundation on your horse before adding speed. You do not need to rely on equipment to deal with a problem, but rather going back and fixing it. Make a solid foundation now, so you don't have holes in your training later.

Each lesson will be customized to your needs.  I take great satisfaction in seeing you succeed. Available for private lessons or small groups.
